On a quiet May day, the silence is broken between the cries of seagulls and woodpeckers. Out of the workshop, the bobber is rolled out into the light of day for the first time. It all started early in the summer of the previous year when Odd Ivan was on the North Sea and came across a project in Rogaland that he became interested in. "I was eager, the bike was bought and brought home, then assembled from parts I had laying around to test the engine and miscellaneous. The assembly went well, and plans were made. In late autumn of the same year, the bike was parked and dismantled, the plans for the complete build-up were laid: This will be Bobber-style!

Odd Ivan continues: "The engine received a thorough review. Cam chain tensioners were changed and rocker lockers, new S&S lifters and adjustable pushrods were installed. All the chrome was replaced as the old one didn't look good at all". Odd Ivan made a long list of parts that needed to be obtained, including new rims and tires. "The seat mount and solo seat were adapted and fitted with the good help of Kåre Isaksen, and the screen mounts were manufactured at Helle Jernindustri," says Odd Ivan.

The screen was mounted in a swingarm without a support bracket at the back for a "clean look" and a lowering kit was installed on the springs. "I had to go through a few rounds with the paint job and design, and finally a design was developed that I was happy with. I wanted some of the best to take the job, and contacted Ivar Åsland at 2Design. Ivar had a lot to do, but he liked the idea and the design, so he took the job."
