Harley-Davidson has announced it is moving part of its production from the U.S. to Thailand. This means that Harley is breaking its promise that all Harley models sold in the U.S. will be American-made, raising concerns of additional job losses. Brian Bryant, the president of the workers IAM-union, recently gave his statement on the ongoing issue:

«Harley-Davidson’s recent announcement to ship our work and jobs to Thailand is a kick in the teeth to American workers and a betrayal of the company’s legacy as an American icon. It is evident that Harley-Davidson is backstepping from its promise. It will be catastrophic for the labor working currently working in the US facilities».
