01

Norway's first petrol station was located in Tønsberg, came in 1912 and had the following opening hours: Every day between 12.00-13.00 and on Saturdays between 16.00-17.00. But petrol was also sold in Norway before 1900, i.a. in Sarpsborg and at the pharmacy in Kongsberg. Source: Vidar Skaar Borgersen, NVMC no 3-2023.
