THE GREAT SILENCE

The Swedish Transport Agency is a Swedish administrative body subordinate to the Ministry of Industry. They have now sent out for consultation in Sweden their proposal that all replacement of exhaust systems should become illegal. They even have in the proposal that prison should be part of the punishment scale. The proposal applies to both cars and motorbikes, and only the original system can be approved, no aftermarket systems, even if they were to meet the decibel requirement. If the proposal goes through, it will be prohibited to manufacture, market, sell and install other equipment than the original one.
